- BluhornExplorerGo to www.wral.com for updates. They are expecting more flooding on 95 for the next 24 hrs at least. NCDOT is recommending taking route in article that is hundreds of miles out of your way. I would just stay out of area.
- All_I_could_affExplorerAt this moment it looks like trouble between ROUTE 264 thru ROUTE 301, and more between ROUTE 40 and ROUTE 13
- All_I_could_affExplorerLooking at my GPS mapping right now and there’s a whole bunch of sections of 95 that are closed

There is no such Mile Marker on I95 in NC or SC. NC is 182 miles long, SC is 198 miles long.
I saw a news story this morning where NC Governor asked people not to drive through NC.

Sorry, Those were the MM given in the news reports as I was typing. Chuck - All_I_could_affExplorerI was thinking the very same thing about the mile markers. Best to avoid the area regardless

-Michael - FizzExplorerYears ago we drove down after Hugo.
Every road sign was knocked over for hundreds of miles. You better know your way around. - 75 mile section closed both ways in NC on 95...something like exits139 to 65 ???
- chuckbearExplorer95 Closed MM364 to MM369 due to flooding right now until further notice. May be other sections in NC. Chuck
- accsysExplorerI don't know if you have looked at the track for Florence yet but I wouldn't be headed to the northeast corridor anytime before next Wednesday by which time what's left of the storm should be near Nova Scotia. By then I would expect that I-95 through the Carolinas would also be cleared and open unless major damage was done by the storm which would require detours. Since I-95 is the major artery up the east coast, it will be a priority and the different state DOT offices should keep their site updated on its condition.
