Hwy 260 from Camp Verde to Cottonwood AZ......AZDOT/Federal Project to turn the one lane each way into a 2 lane each way divided hwy
Included in that project.....7 round abouts in 18 miles between the 2 towns
I am in the dislike crowd.
All round abouts are 2 laned and YIELD to the one 'inside' the circle
BIG YELID painted on roadway...Yield Signs all over
Folks don't yield, folks with right away Stop, folks speed up and race thru, Semis/dirt haulers, cement trucks can NOT stay in lane
And hwy speed is 55 mph.....then down to 20 mph for round abouts then back up to 55
2 lanes each way/divide hwy would have been GREAT....W/O the dang round abouts
*most have lanes that go split off to NOTHING
The round abouts are set up that you curve to left before entering then curve to right as you enter then curve back to left and then back to right as you continue straight thru
**Or you go round, round, round
