The issue is people insist on being 2 feet off the bumper of the car in front of them. Even with straight line highway driving people are so close to the vehicle in front of them no one can maneuver...aka change lanes. I hate driving in a pack like everyone is chained together.
I don't care what the speed limit is I do what I feel safe in the given conditions. Same with the roundabout...I will take up how ever many lanes I need to to get to where I need to. Truckers do it, so can I.
As previously mentioned, the reverse diamond is an experience the first time you meet one. Exit 407 on I-40 in TN is one....but it works quite well.
