I have to drive the motorhome to Washington DC

I'm terrified. I've driven in multiple big cities, but hear Washington DC is really really bad. We are staying at Cherry Hill Park and are coming in from the south. What is the best time and route ...

Thanks Everyone. I think I will take 81 up and over Washington and then come down from the North. More miles, but less stress the better when I'm in the Big Rig.
