But if you stay on I-20 which swings around south of Dallas and Fort Worth, unless there is an accident, you should have no trouble. I have never had to slow down. In fact, it's better to try to run at full highway speed to "go with the flow."

Any route through Dallas other than I-20 is an entirely different matter, especially anywhere in the northern portion of the city.
