I24/I75 Interchange in Chattanooga, Tn Construction

Since the admitting of Mexican Semis, near as I can place the time, traffic has gotten so bad that it is not uncommon to see traffic backed up to the i72 exit 5 miles or so est of Monteagle Mountain ...

TundraTower the only other good route east out of north Alabama is US-411 from Gadsden over toward Rome GA. But Decatur, AL might be a bit north for that. Google says it adds 35 miles to Cherokee, but you do miss Ocoee.

US-41 thru Chattanooga has 3 low underpasses, 10'4" & 13'1" going around Lookout Mountain. And 12'6" for the tunnel thru Missionary Ridge.
