Icefields Parkway Security/Safety
I'll admit I'm now somewhat paranoid due to our rental car being broken into in Seattle last year, but does any one have any idea if there are any issues along the Icefields Parkway with car break-ins...

Gary's suggestion of "stashing" your stuff before you pull into road side parking lots is stellar. Many tourists including myself will park in these areas and hike for several hours. Everybody there is in the same boat as far as security is concerned so getting everything valuable out of sight is essential. I have never had issues in Jasper but I always lock bikes, hide cameras/gps/etc. Use common sense and have an awesome trip. Just spent a week in Jasper and already planning another week next summer.
