I posted the link to the website with the calculator for a number of reasons.......
1... Depends on what vehicle the traveler is traveling in - tolls vary depending on vehicle or vehicles - towing or whatever - what one vehicle pays has nothing to do with what another vehicle pays.
2... What someone paid last year or a few months ago - or years ago - has nothing to do with what the tolls are today - or what they might be tomorrow. The calculator will give a reasonably close estimate of what tolls one might encounter and what the toll might be for various vehicles.
3... You must add different vehicles together when using the calculator as they show individual vehicles for the most part and not combinations of vehicles - though in some cases we are charged as if we were a truck/trailer combination - maybe not all toll booth personnel see through the same eyes.
4... We are a motorhome with a single axle but with dual wheels and we tow a basic 4 wheel car - we are almost always charged as a bus and a car - they charge us just as they would charge a bus and we have never heard anything said about dual wheels or single wheels. I know many on this forum say they look for duals but we have never had this situation occur to us - maybe they charge for a single wheel pickup or a dual wheel pickup differently - I have no idea. We are charged the rate for a single rear axle bus just as the calculator shows - number of wheels has never ever been an issue for our specific vehicle.
5... From the time you calculate your route there could be rate changes and what you find at the booth may not be exactly what is shown in the calculator. All should be aware that you can get an approximate estimate but do not be surprised if the rate at the booth varies a little bit from what you estimated with the calculator. If you find a large variance then maybe it would be good to question the toll collector about how they arrived at that fee.
6... We often take libres that parallel cuotas so our total tolls paid between Point A and Point B could vary substantially from someone who only takes cuotas or someone who only takes libres. You can only approximate your total costs by using the calculator for your specific route using your specific vehicle.
I have tried to clarify this as best I am able. I hope this helps. Trying very hard to stay on topic.
