They are about $300 plus installation. i am assuming the warnings you get are via a speaker which hopefully you can put a switch on. I would rather a hijacker get no warnings, best for them to think it just died. I would leave it on and just disable it if I felt I was in a situation. under normal cicumstances I would want a warnign if I forgot to press the button.
