One of the reasons I have been told not to expect to boondock in Mexico the way I do in Canada and the US, at least until I get more Mexico experience, is that I'm a single woman. Add in the rig (32' class C + pickup truck) and I'm going to attract attention. I'd like to find a place to land and then once I'm there, look for another spot to spend the rest of the wintering exploring. I really want to avoid having to import my vehicles on this trip. Rocky Point looks good for a landing spot!
