Maybe somebody could settle this (not me I don't want to get flagged). The email to ask is:

Now the question is can you drive the truck in and out as many time sas you want on the same tip & tourist card or can you fly in & out, and of course you will get a new tourist card when you do that. I thought that may be a problem if they tie your TIP to your tourist crad, but I do not think they do that. I have my records from their site (these are my old truck BTW). I blacked out my passport number and you can see that the TIP numbers are referenced, but not the tourist card number.
