My most notable fact about that area, Stewart/Hyder is the Google streetview story. (can't say favourite, as what they did was really stupid)
They drove all the way from Highway 37 into Stewart, went down one residential street, turned around and left Stewart on a different residential street, without driving the ONE block to the little downtown area, and the extra three miles to Hyder Alaska!
