Well..yes and no....The Candian Border people are anything but lax.
There are no US Border people. There is no US Border, period. And once you drive out of Hyder for the glacier, you are back on Canadian soil.
We should just annex it and stop all this messing around. Hyder folks also use the hospital facilities in Stewert. So many are on Medicaid that they have worked out an 'arrangement' with BC Medical Sercies.
