Interesting route back home from Texas to Michigan

Not sure where you are in TX, but one of our faves is via Galveston Island/Crystal Beach via Port Bolivar ferry. Huge ferry that can carry semis. From Crystal Beach take 124 to I10 to southern MS/LA. Then grab I55 to head north.
