My 25 year old married daughter read this article and she sent me a message thanking me and mom for taking our kids on travels when they were young. We traveled about 20,000 miles a year in different parts of Mexico with 3 youngsters. Their ability to understand different cultures and lifestyles is definitely shaped by these travels.
Her comment to me was that she loved the piece and she dreams of coming back home some day to Guanajuato or Mexico City. I thought it was an awesome comment from someone I didn't know would look back on our life with such fond memories.
