- dkreuzenExplorerI travel that stretch of I40 a couple of times a year. It's been bad for the last 10+ years with very little effort to repair it. I suggest you send ADOT a note about how bad it is, it may not help but it's a way to get out your frustrations a little bit. I always get back a note that they are "working on it", ya right...

Those trucks pay millions of dollars in taxes. What we need is for the state to use the money for what is was intended, fix the roads. They seem to find other things to use it for. - RCMAN46ExplorerUntil we do something about overloaded trucks we will never have good roads.
- tuna_fisherExplorerI go that way often and I just hate the fact it's so bad these days. I really don't have a other way to go except the way I said in the original post.
- ronniedean1234ExplorerBack in 96 it was bad, darn sure a lot worse now that's for sure.
- mileshuffExplorerDrove that a few times last year and noticed it was full of massive pot holes. They were working on it but only in the immediate Kingman area. Drove between Ash Fork and Flagstaff last week and was decent but still had some rough stretches.
- JnJnKatiebugExplorerI went thru there the end of May going to LV. IMO, it is the worst stretch of I-40 I have ever driven. We were planning on coming back that way but after driving it we found a different route. Went north and hit I-70 to Colorado. Several miles out of the way but much more scenic. We had lots of time anyway.
