Interstate Deteriation - is it just me?
I-70 (between Pittsburgh area and Illinois then 39 North to Madison have many areas of deep potholes and wheel bangers. Are others experiencing these too on our interstates? Sure would be nice.if....

Gas taxes are per gallon and not price. As the price goes up people use less so taxes are less. Some have suggested that vehicles be taxed by mileage instead of fuel.

California imposes a sales on gas that is based on the price of each gallon. Therefore, the higher the price of gas the higher that particular tax. Do not know if other states have a similar tax or not.
