We'll leaveing Texas, ready to go north but I know it's too soon.2 more months, then it's fishing time :)Canned 15 cases last year, giving away most of it, in preparation of this years catch.

I'm ready to go too! I'm home in Anchorage planning on when to fly down and pick up my RV, which is parked in Bullhead City, AZ, and what route to take.

We normally kipper and can several cases of salmon, but 15 cases!! That's a lifetime supply :)

Friends from the MatSu Valley go up in March, We usually leave late April to early May. Serious fishing tends to start July 15.

One of the best parts of going early is seeing the ice on the Lakes and Rivers. The jumble of ice on the river banks tells a story.
