Hey Gary, if you are referring to my post, maybe reread it with a different view? I get annoyed at all these 'scams' out there directed at people with illnesses. If you read the link i provided, this is contained in it..
A recent high-profile study by researchers at Stanford University in California found that, as a whole, organic products offered no more vitamins and nutrients than conventional products. The study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, analyzed the results of 240 previous studies.
“There wasn’t any strong evidence to support the idea that organic foods are significantly healthier,” Crystal Smith-Spangler, the study’s lead author, told reporters.
The analysis did find organic food was 30% less likely to contain trace levels of pesticides, with the researchers saying it was uncommon for any food in the U.S., organic or conventional, to have unsafe levels.
This whole issue of diet for diabetics & Cancer Patients is important, but can be misleading & that is what i'm trying to get across. You don't have to eat Organic to eat healthy!! A lot of it is a scam & the remainder is very costly & really hard to know if it is truly pesticide free (as it could be certified in some foreign country). Since i've had my cancer, i've been approached by lots of people with the 'cure' BIG scams all of them, but geared toward the vulnerable. Also, with chemo, your body is introduced to various poisons, which somewhat negate the effect of eating 'clean' if you know what i mean. Take Care, Gary
