re river roads... Those I can't name, but if you look at a map, you'll see state roads that sort of follow the MS River, off and on.
There's some pretty cool indian mounds on the Illinois side of the river at St. Louis. The Cahokia mounds...nice little visitor center and museum, easy to get to.
