What's the drive like from Jasper, AB to Lake Louise, AB? looks like it's about 140 miles on Icefields Pkwy (RT 93). Wondering about road conditions (i.e. curvy, inclines). Thanks,
Budget a lot of time for this drive -- all day, or more (if you camp near the Icefields). You will be making a lot of stops. There are wonderful hikes that take off from the road -- but even if you just pull over to gawk, it is still amazing:
That is really the real color of the water. There is a lot of glacial flour (powdered rock) in the water -- it colors the lakes turquoise.
