There are some grades to climb but nothing too strenuous. Probably one of the most beautiful drives anywhere.

Fairly straight, but the grades are long and might be "steeper" then you are used to. There really is not a lot of "exposure" though, in that you are usually driving along a valley, not a cliff.

A stop at the visitors center for the Glacier Skywalk and Icefield tour "bus" are not to be missed.

There is -one- gas station between the two and prices are, high, even for Canada.
