You did the right thing. Never try and run. Especially in a MH. They could have some heavy arms. Could be high on crack. Who knows. I know how you feel about your jeep but as others have said it is just a vehicle. I hope that your insurance company treats you fairly. You may find that your homeowners policy might balk at an payments. They might consider it an act of war or terrorism or some other lame excuse. Have you started to make up a list of the contents. Make sure the list is "complete" as some items are not covered.
Rob: Chop shops are a border thing. Whole vehicles is what they want down south. That Jeep will be used for other retens and probably end up riddled with bullet holes. Or even set on fire! I am glad you both are safe and seem to have a good attitude! Just think of the campfire stories back in BC! Don't expect any help from the ministerio public. Their favorite cop out is: Unless we actually see them stealing the vehicle we cannot charge them!
