Chuck: I always chuckle when people post Mexican statistics. You know the old saying GIGO. Garbage in and garbage out. I would estimate that 90 % of small crime never gets reported. The big stuff sometimes is reported but the police and Gov. officials do not keep that information But getting back to the OP. I hope all goes well. I just read my Qualitas policy and depending on how a lawyer reads this there is a distinct possibility that one might not be covered. If the OP has his insurance with Lewis and Lewis call Jim Lewis and he will help. Mexican policies are governed by the Spanish version not the English . I will post the Spanish tomorrow if I can find it and maybe Chris can jump in. I do know that leaving Mexico before this gets settled is a bad idea. You have gone through hell and I hope this gets better soon! In the meantime I am looking for a Yugo as my next toad as suggested by Tequila!
