Jonson's shut-ins - Missouri - WARNING

Made the mistake of asking whomever at the state park that answers the phone, and was told to take KK to J as the easy route to the park ... rather than stay on the highways. KK and J are paved farm roads. When you turn off of KK onto J, you go around a sharp turn and hit what must be a 40percent 1/2mile uphill climb. I have never seen such a steep hill, and I've traveled 80,000 miles so far across America.

I thought for sure my Trailblazer would explode, but it stayed in 2nd gear and creeped over it at about 3 mph. I think it was as scared as I was and was afraid to go into first. It was so steep that sitting in the seat was more like laying in a recliner.

Word of advice: stay on the main highway.

This might be more effective if you actually revealed the name of the park and it's location

:):) I thought the guy was playing "WHEEL OF FORTUNE" and we had to guess and wait for the next clue:):):)

Maybe you both might want to take the time to read the whole thread, including the title...

Was it too much trouble for you to simply say Johnson's Shut-Ins is the name of the state park in Missouri. :R
