You could park overnight at the boat launch at Syringa Creek PP. during the day there are people walking dogs etc at the boat launch and at 1/2 km farther up the road at the campground, however by late afternoon, there won’t be a sole around.
The boat launch is the first left after the big condo complex ( couple hundred yards)
After you turn in, I suggest taking a right turn at the bottom of the little hill, as you enter the large parking area. After you enter the big parking area at the bottom of the little hill, the all season boat launch is to the boat left, and the summer season boat launch is to the right. Summer boat launch is a long ways from the water right now, so little if any traffic down that way.
Have fun on your trip.

They have killer fish and chips. ( nothing compared to places on the coastal water ways can make) but for a little pub at the top of a defunct ferry ramp on the shores of the Columbia River, surrounded by mountains, it’s pretty good.
PS: I used to live 3 driveways west of the pub. Me and my 2 neighbours were the first people to drink a beer at the pub. Yup... we wondered down there with a couple beers in hand the night the poured the footings.... :B
Enjoy your trip.
