Just Arrived Home after a Fantastic 7800 Mile Trip

Great to hear you had such a wonderful trip. Thank you for posting the stats, very helpful to others thinking about something like that.

I, too, prefer traveling under the 2-2-2 rule: 200 miles each driving day, so you can arrive by 2 PM and get your pick of campsites, and stay 2 days so you can see the sights. But my wife is still working, so we generally wind up going for 250 miles a day. (sigh) She says she's going to retire next year. Or maybe not.
