Kansas City to Fort Lauderdale
Can someone suggest a good winter time route, from Kansas City to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. We like to avoid,or go around, big cities.

- Our preferred route if we have plenty of time. Does take you through some small towns with traffic lights but less stress. South on I-49 to US60 east. I-55 south to US82 east. I-65 S at Montgomery AL, I-85 east to US231 south to I-10 east. Take exit 225 and follow US19-98 south to Chiefland FL. Take ALT-US27 S to US41 south. In Inverness FL take FL-44 east to Leesburg and take US27 South to I-75 E.
