It is hard to find a direct north-south road to Tallahassee. Going down I-75 to intersect with I-10 puts you too far east. I should have explained that we use the I-40 (in TN) to I-75 because our other home is in extreme western NC. We don't mind towing through Atlanta, lived there for 10 years. lizzie
Now, that makes sense.....but going from Cordele on Ga 300 to Ga 19 to Tally the way to go
but I might even think of going over and going down 59 thru Birmingham and Montgomery....thru Dothan to I-10..nice ride and different......but never calculated the mileage..Chuck
Hey Chuck, I suggested the Birmingham route in my first reply. Its a nice drive and avoids Atlanta. Going to Tampa I go further east like you do. I like Deer Run RV Park by Troy on the way to Dothan for a nice overnight stop. Easy to Tallahassee the next day.
