Kentucky turnpikes

Great parkways and almost no trucks, little other traffic.

We will travel all the way from Corbin to Land Between the Lakes and the Tennessee border in September.

We have traveled the Purchase Parkway, Western Parkway, and Bluegrass Parkway many times. We have made that our regular route from East Texas to Lexington.

Great roads, built close to interstate standards. They all used to be tollways until the bond issue to build them was paid off.

And in Kentucky, the are referred to as parkways, not turnpikes. If you look for Western Kentucky Turnpike you won't find it.

Good road and not much traffic.

They look like an interstate. You'll love it.
