We should all consider that these are not beggars on the streets of Vancouver. The Government gives them next to nothing. Most are uneducated. Some are native peoples from further south where poverty is rampant. Yes, some may be drug addicts or alcohol but they are still hungry. The women with babies in tow have zero income. We keep change in the unit and try to help. This certainly does nothing to change their lifestyle but I will leave that to the Country of Mexico! Seems a shame that a country that lately is touting all the economic advances does nothing to make sure some of wealth trickles down to those at the "bottom".
