Last time a few years ago, we camped in a TC at Kicking Horse but I don't know how well the sites will accomodate your larger rig. There could be snow and definately cool(read frosty) nights. A few years before that, the CG was closed until summer due to avalanche damage to some park structures.
We have stayed in the Monarch overflow camping area just down the road last year a few times. Cheaper, no services except dump station and nice pit toilets and cook shack.
Very noisey with the trucks coming down the hill with their Jake Brakes and the mainline trains with squeeling brakes(no horns).
Gorgeous setting when the sun comes out.
