- JKJavelinExplorer IIIWe went through there last year with our 31 foot FW. It was fine, and we overnighted at Juniper's Reservoir Rv Park, which belongs to Passport America.
We continued east the next day and found that after Lakeview, no diesel for 200 miles! We were about 10 miles into the mountains and told the wife that we would need to fill up in about 100 miles. She looked and said there's nothing for 200 miles, so we turned around and filled up in Lakeview.
Surprisingly desolate country there.
JK - Willcamp4ExplorerI drove that route two years ago towing a 30 foot Fifth Wheel. It was pleasant, beautiful and had light traffic. There were no really steep hills. I am looking forward to taking that route again someday.
- shadowpupExplorerI drove it in a 40' DP towing a 20' car hauler.
