La Manzanilla, Boca beach problems

Anyone planning on using the small RV parks in La Manzanilla, forget it. The storm took out the causeway and there is now a deep river there. Everything on the others side it trapped for god knows how long.

There are low tree branches blocking access to Boca beach about 300 meters before the park, for anything over 11 feet. A 5th wheel damaged his roof vent trying to get in. I spent a sweaty hour on top of my RV yesterday cutting them off.

You can thank me later.
  • Thanks Paul that is good information for me as I use the road to go from the Marsh Memorial at Boca Resort to La Manzanilla. I am wheel less right now while Cowboy fixes my Mex Tracker . How long to you plan on staying in that wonderful area. La Manzanilla has really spruced up Eh. Lots of Artsy stuff going on.
  • Well as of Today Thanksgiving We are and have been here at Boca Beach RV Park in Our 11.5 Foot High DSDP!

Apart from the usual Pot Holes that will eventually get filled and a few overgrown branches from the Brush at the ditch Sides everything is about the same as Last Year!

Yes the causeway at the Croc Farm is again washed out and that too should be repaired in a few Days!

Hello Lew when You get yer wheels back drop out for a Cuppa!

    Rob
  • You would not have cleared the tree branches I cut for you Rob. Please deliver my beer to chacala beach north of PV where I am now, BTW you will shortly be invaded by Caravanes Soleil out of Quebec.
  • Looks like it will be quite a while before they rebuild the Causeway! Apparently there is something else that is considered more important so it will get repaired first!

I'll be right up with that Pacifico!
  • They won't make repairs until the water table drops. From this area down into Colima water is running where it usually isn't
