UPDATE ON MY TRIP......
Well, the rough CA roads finally got me. Yesterday on my way from Buellton to San Diego my generator exhaust finally had taken all the beating it could stand. Both supports holding in place broke, leaving it attached only to the genny by 2 bolts. Luckily I was not going very fast when I heard something dragging so I was able to pull over and used bungee cords to hold off the ground for a few hundred yards before I could unbolt it. I finally made it San Diego with the genny exhaust lying on the floor inside the MH.
