You won't need resies after September as the kiddies are back to school and Pinery has about 1000 sites. July and August absolutely.
Reservations are still a good idea for the larger sites with hydro as the weekends still fill up. That goes for all the provincial parks along Lake Huron. Sections of the parks close down after September 2nd as well so not all sites are available.
Riverside Area One has tons of spots for big rigs but if you need to be sure and hey it's not any cheaper to do bookings or just show up...........so book it.
BTW Inverhuron is also a little gem of a park a couple hours up the road from Pinery. 50 amp sites av there and yes bring LOTS of cord.
