As Wranglers camp is the only thing open in LBL, I would seriously reconsider plans for December. Wranglers camp is quite difficult to get to, far out of the way, and a long way from anywhere. And, weather may be a big factor. If you do want to go through Paducah, consider I-24 all the way to Nashville. There are are several good choices of campgrounds in Nashville, we can recommend several. Several may need reservations in advance due to Christmas activities in around the campgrounds and Music row. We stayed at Wrangler during the winter one year, would not even think about it again unless I had a horse in the back of the RV.
