- 2oldmanExplorer IISaw on the news where there was lots of damage. Signs, trees, power lines, and Bellagio had to turn off the fountains!
Here in Quartzsite we had 'dirt fog' - 1320FastbackExplorerMade it to Vegas before the major winds hit. We had a 2 Hour detour just east of Hesperia for a jack knifed big rig, on fire, blocking all lanes of i15 though.
After we got to the dog show grounds and set up the trailer the DW jumped on her Facebook and followed some friends progress. One had their awning tear off their motor home on the highway, another took a sizable rock THRU the windshield, others sent pics of completely blocked visibility from the sand storm. Also 3 semis along the 15 have blown over so far.
Now we're sitting here in a RV going thru what feels like Magnitude 8.0 wind earthquakes. - moses195ExplorerWinds 30-45 here this morning in Fallon
