That is a beautiful trip. Yes uphill and curvy and follows a river but also has wide areas where you can pull off next to the river and enjoy lunch or a snack. I pulled the hill with a gas 6.0 Chevy and a 30 ft pull trailer with no problems. Time difference should not be a deal breaker, it really is not that much.
