We got snowed in when we attended her graduation for her undergrad degree. In May! The 287 and 80 were both closed and we almost missed our flight out of Denver.
I still remember the text she sent us in her freshman year: "It's snowing during finals week. This is ridiculous!"
She's used to it now. Hopefully the weather cooperates this time. We kind of don't care though: We're just so excited to go see her get her doctorate. It feels weird to have a kid with a piece of paper that pretty much proves she's smarter than I am.
