Speaking as a native Californian (who marvels at the peacefulness of Wyoming every time we head out there), the density and bustle of California must seem so strange to you. I hope it is fun, since it is so different.
That is so funny! After your reply I actually considered the experience as a potential real thing, instead of just funny fodder for my writing expression.

Yes - we like quiet more than excitement, kind of our nature, and Wyoming can more readily provide such than say - oh I don't know - San Francisco? But we are having fun! Travel brings one so many new experiences and that's a good thing.
And yes, like anybody in a new environment, differences can cause any number of emotions, fear, fun, excitement, anger. But while people are so different from one another in so many ways, they are also exactly the same in lots of other ways.
And I believe, for that reason, there should be great rejoicing. ;)
Our next post will talk about our leaving Vista Point, and making our way further up Highway 1, but we are getting close to done on this thing.
Trip Interruptions, or perhaps more accurately stated, Trip Conclusions, can happen to us all, at any time, and at any place. Again, it's the way a person's mind works at given times in their lives. Isn't it great we can shift though!
