Lincoln, NE to San Diego-Best Route in March
I am heading to San Diego next week and want to avoid bad weather and roads from Lincoln, NE. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I would leave Lincoln on 77 to Jct City, KS pick up I 70 W to HWY 156 S near Ellsworth, KS to Great Bend, KS 56 w to Dodge City, KS 283 s to 54 west to Tucumcari, NM and on to Alamogordo, NM... 70 to Las Cruces, NM then I 10 W to Casa Grande, AZ I 8W to San Diego. I have run this way many times it is a good way to go and in march it should be warm and sunny the whole trip. There is not much traffic and I always see plenty of RV's . The only big grade you will encounter is just before you get in to San Diego on I 8
