Lincoln Rock State park to George,Wa
I feel funny asking this, but I have never been on the road down from Lake Chelan to US 97 and will be doing it in a 40' DP towing,coming from Winthrop where I scored a site during the blues festival ...

I have taken this route many times with our 40'DP towing and it is a good route. Heading south from Winthrop to Lincoln Rock is pretty much all downhill or flat.
Taking 28 to George is also a good road but does have a short and a long grade, but both have a passing lane so there is no problem with fast or slow vehicles.
I also took the old road from Vantage to Ellensburg about 10 years ago with a group of cars in a club. I recall it being kind of a narrow and windy road. I recall the edge of the pavement starting to crumble in some place also. If I was going that direction with the motorhome, I would probably take I90.
