It is a krap shoot. Going across is no problem, it's the return trip. We have stood in line for over an hour and then the next trip, walk right up. The time of day, to me really doesn't make any difference, it could be either way.. Just count the time in line as an "experience" and enjoy it.
^ What he said. Wait times are a bit unpredictable. But generally going on a weekday there is less traffic. We went to the dentist there on a Friday once, and the wait coming back into the U.S. was fairly long -- longest we ever recall and we have been there many many times.
