Although I have not been on a lot of roads in IL. The ones I have been on I-39, 55, 70, 57, 64, 72, and US-36 had no different speed limits for different vehicles. If the speed limit was 65 it was for everyone. I have seen in some state when get within 50 miles of some of the large cites they limit the trucks (what ever the definition of a truck is) to certain lanes.
