The odds are rather slim in CA of getting a ticket from the CHP there are 700 of them and 30 million of us. That like 40,000 to one.
In your area that may be accurate but in central and Northern calif. It is not uncommon to see 18 wheelers pulled over. My 34' 5th wheel trailer is pretty easy to see, especially when you are passing 18 wheelers one or two at a time. Most truckers drive 60 to 62 MPH. Having a CB radio to talk with the truckers also helps to know where "Bears" are located.
