Have been staying there for the last 10 years or so. PB has a water filtration/purification system and we drink the water. Haven't had any problems. There is a guy that comes thru the park in a ratty pickup selling bottled water in 5 gallon jugs. There is also a water store on Sinola where you can take your jugs over and buy water, something like 8 pesos.If you are so scared of the water, you can buy bottled water at Sam's or the Bodega. I don't bother sanitizing when we hit the US
