MA to MT

OK, so we thought we would take a trip to Montana in Mid August with a 35 ft gas MH from Massachusetts. Some have said it is too hilly and some would really be very scary on the brakes and high grade hills. ANY one have suggestions of routes to see the sights and avoid the bad hills. Want to see the Presidential Range if possible and will travel to Yellowstone and the sights of MT and getting there should be as much fun. Any thoughts are appreciated!!
  • "One piece of advice would be to avoid Chicago any day or time."

Why, Moe? Lots of scary hills in Chicago that are hard on brakes? Lol
  • One route I have taken several times is cross to Canada at Thousand Islands to Sarnia/Port Huron then up to the Michigan Upper Peninsula over to Fargo ND or Sioux Falls SD then west. Nice scenery with much to see no major traffic problems unless you hit Toronto during rush hour.
  • WE have almost 5 weeks. We have a relative in Sheridan MT (not Wyoming) but want to go to Yellowstone and see Mt Rushmore and other interesting places but going Trans Canadian Highway sounds sensible as well. Will talk to the relative who used to drive truck and see what he has to say as well but your suggestions are GREAT!!
