Ditto what ChooChooMan stated but I would pickup i81 higher up in NY. Scenic cut through the top three states. In a hurry pickup I90 in Mass and go into NY. Anything around NYC unless your coming through 10pm to 4-5 am is horrible. Roads conditions and traffic jams.
