- garyp4951Explorer IIIDW decided she wants more room, so we are staying farther east at Buccaneer State Park.

Good campground with helpful staff with narrow level pads but space between sites enough to allow for slides. The neighborhood is a bit shabby, but we didn't spend time walking around. A break in at night in the store across the street, a homeless man beaten to death a mile away, and a bank robbery 1 1/2 miles away added to the excitement for the week we were there. We would stay there again. Campe on!

- sunnybrookidExplorerIf you have a 43 ft rig, you might want to call and inquire if you can fit on any of their sites. From my experience there, it would be pretty tough to fit on the sites I saw.
- LamanExplorerIt might be the best one in the area but I won't stay there again. It is clean and modern, but it is very tight lots of concrete and the sites on the far west road in the campground were so un-level, front to back, that my levelers gave me an excessive slope warning and would not deploy. My neighbor in a large fifth wheel had his front end adjusted all the way down and it still was not level. It might be better in the middle of the park but I did not enjoy our night there.
- aerbus32Explorer IIVery nice park. We felt it was the nicest in the area by far. The pull-thru's are best for a big rig. The back-ins on the perimeter seemed a little larger than those in the center of the park. Our 37' gasser with 3 slides, one a full body, left us room to park our CR-V at our site, but there is additional parking at the back of the park.

Thanks for the replies, I hope the sites are wide enough for a 5er with slides on both sides.
WE GOT A 43FT ...WITH 30" SLIDES ON BOTH SIDES..WE GOT ON...NOT A LOT OF ROOM TO SPARE - garyp4951Explorer IIIThanks for the replies, I hope the sites are wide enough for a 5er with slides on both sides.
- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerVery nice park but sites are very narrow and short. Not enough room for big rig and toad. See reviews on www.rvparkreviews.com If you haven't already booked a particular site, I would arrive early and check to see which sites have the most room. Some of the back in sites seemed to have more room than the pull thrus.
